What to Do

First-after unpacking-step outside-close your eyes and breathe in the great air-open them and treat yourself to a view of the farmscape. Fill up your senses with your surroundings.

Take a walk to the pond, try the canoe or the paddleboat, listen to the birds and other wildlife, the sounds of the hay. Explored surrounding property and locate lovers ledge and sweetheart rock. Listen to the sounds of silence.

Take a walk or jog down to the prop plane airport.

Then perhaps back to the Inn for a nap.

Take a walk to visit the adjacent barn with many horses, Fiona the donkey, Boonie, the mini horse, the alpacas (Socrates and Cramer), Cowbell the barn cat, and all of our beloved animals on the farm. They are all friendly.

A hike or a horse back ride to see the fantastic surrounding trails.

Or bring you bike and access one of New Milfords fantastic bike trails along the Housatonic River.

Now it should be almost time for dinner. Let us make some recommendations, visit our quaint New England town – it is very walkable and wonderful for shopping and eating!

Finally, back to the Inn, sit in front of the fire or in the gazebo – just relax and enjoy.
